"Marilyn" in burgundy is a warm two-piece tracksuit made of soft polar fleece: a half-zip sweatshirt with a stand collar and matching joggers with pockets. The fabric feels very pleasant to the touch, and the chest carries a printed A|M logo in a laurel wreath. The cut is relaxed, so the set suits days at home, walks and travel in cooler weather.
What does burgundy look like, and what goes with it?
Burgundy is a deep wine red with a slight purple undertone, richer than plain red but calmer. It pairs with black, grey, cream and white, and with white sneakers; a black or camel coat on top completes the look.
Is burgundy too bold for everyday wear?
Because the shade is deep rather than bright, it reads as a rich neutral, not a statement colour. If you want something quieter, the same Marilyn set also comes in black, graphite, mocha and chocolate.
Which size should I choose?
There are three sizes: S-M with a sweatshirt chest circumference of 100 cm and trousers hips of 100 cm, M-L with 110 and 110, and L-XL with 120 and 120. The sweatshirt is 65, 66 and 68 cm long, and the trousers are 100, 102 and 104 cm long.
