Vyshyvanka "Ivan" blue

Vyshyvanka "Ivan" blue is a men's long-sleeve shirt in blue linen with white cross-stitch embroidery on the stand collar, the chest panel and the cuffs. It closes at the neckline with white tassel ties, and in our photos it is worn untucked with dark jeans.

What shade is the blue, and does it look like denim?

It is a muted, washed denim blue with a soft melange texture, so the white embroidery stands out clearly without making the shirt loud. Linen gives the surface a natural, slightly uneven character, which keeps the look relaxed and close to a classic Ukrainian vyshyvanka rather than a plain casual shirt.

Does white embroidery on a blue shirt stay bright, and how do I wash it?

The contrast of white cross-stitch on blue is what makes this model so recognisable, and it keeps its look best with gentle care: wash at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, inside out, with similar colours, and avoid bleach. Do not tumble dry, and iron the shirt inside out while slightly damp, without pressing directly on the embroidery.
