Vyshyvanka "Ivan" black is a men's long-sleeve shirt in natural linen with black cross-stitch embroidery on the stand collar, the chest panel and the cuffs. It closes at the neckline with tassel ties, and in our photos it is worn untucked with dark jeans.
Is a linen vyshyvanka comfortable to wear, and does it crease?
Linen is a natural, breathable fabric that feels light and cool, which makes this shirt an easy choice for warm days and for layering in spring and autumn. Like any linen, it creases a little, and that soft texture is part of the look. Iron it slightly damp to get a smoother finish.
What do I wear with a vyshyvanka with black embroidery?
Dark jeans and white sneakers, exactly as in the photos, are the simplest option. Dark trousers or chinos make the look smarter, because apart from the embroidery the shirt is a calm natural colour. How do I choose between sizes 42 and 64?
Ukrainian sizes 42 to 64 correspond to XXS to 7XL and to European sizes 32 to 54: for example, UA 46 is S, EU 36, and UA 52 is XL, EU 42. The size chart gives garment measurements in centimetres (chest circumference, neck, sleeve and length), so compare them with a shirt you already wear and like. Measurements can differ by about ±2 cm.
